Privacy Policy

This policy describes how BopRush (the mobile game, website, and related services operated by us) collects, uses, and shares information. If you use the iOS app, it also reflects the practices disclosed in our App Store product page (App Privacy). If anything here conflicts with a platform provider's terms (for example, Apple or Google), their terms may also apply to how they process data.

1. Information we collect

1.1 In the BopRush iOS app

  • On-device gameplay and settings. Scores, XP, levels, achievements, cosmetics, daily/weekly challenges, season progress, and preferences (audio, haptics, etc.) may be stored locally on your device.
  • Game Center (optional). If you use Game Center, Apple may process your Game Center profile and display name for leaderboards, achievements, and social features. That processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive limited information from Apple's APIs as needed to show scores and friend-related features.
  • In-app purchases. BopRush Pro and other purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit). We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple provides us information needed to validate and deliver subscription entitlements.
  • Advertising (Google AdMob). The app may show ads (for example, rewarded or interstitial ads). AdMob and its partners may collect identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads. Depending on your choices and platform settings, the app may request App Tracking Transparency permission before certain data is used for tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
  • Analytics. We use analytics services (such as TelemetryDeck) to understand how the app is used (for example, which screens or modes are popular). These tools may process device or usage signals as described in their policies.
  • Online multiplayer (Battle mode). When you use real-time multiplayer features, the app may send gameplay-related data (such as display name, level, match state, and scores) to BopRush servers to operate matchmaking, rooms, and sessions. We use this to run the feature, reduce abuse, and improve reliability.
  • Notifications. If you opt in to push notifications, Apple's push service delivers them; we may process tokens or preferences needed to schedule reminders you have allowed.

1.2 When you contact us or use boprush.com

  • If you email support@boprush.com or use a contact form, we receive the information you send (such as your email address and message content) to respond and keep a record of support requests.
  • Our website may collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and approximate region) for security and operations.

2. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the game (including leaderboards, multiplayer, and progression).
  • Process purchases and manage BopRush Pro subscription status.
  • Show ads where applicable and measure their performance.
  • Analyze aggregate usage to fix bugs and improve design.
  • Respond to support requests and comply with law.

3. Tracking and advertising

On iOS, tracking has a specific meaning under Apple's rules (linking data across other companies' apps/websites for advertising or sharing with data brokers). We configure the app to request permission where required. You can change your choice later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist us (hosting, analytics, advertising, customer email), subject to contracts that limit use.
  • Apple and Google as needed for distribution, payments, Game Center, and platform services.
  • Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. On-device data remains until you delete the app or clear app data. Server logs and support email may be retained for a limited operational period.

6. Children's privacy

BopRush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@boprush.com and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain information, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact support@boprush.com to make a request. You can also manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings and ad tracking choices in iOS Settings.

8. International users

If you use BopRush from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
